Studio director Satrina Villasenor began her dance training in 1982 under the tutelage of Salinas studio director Lisa Eisemann. Ballet, pointe, tap and jazz formed the foundation for Satrina’s passion for dance. Over the years Satrina has had the honored opportunity to teach at the Salinas School of Dance, Cynthia Merrell’s School of Performing Art, Jeanne Robinson’s Dance Arts and in local schools through the Monterey County Arts Counsel. Satrina’s choreography has been seen at Hartnell College, Monterey Peninsula College and for the past 4 year at Everett Alvarez High School’s spring musical. 28 years of dancing experience and over 15 years of instructing dance culminated with the opening of All the Right Steps Family Dance Center in 2007. A place where all of Satrina’s dance experiences could be under one roof. Highly motivated, passionate, approachable and creative Satrina has created a studio atmosphere which breeds integrity, compassion, and a love for dance.

Heather Osteraa - Creative Movement, Pre ballet, Tap
Heather Osteraa is a born and bred performer of the Central Coast. Having acted for several of the area's theatre companies (Western Stage, Pacific Repertory, and the late Salt Shaker Theatre Co.), she considers dance her first love. Heather began her ballet training at age 4 at the Salinas School of dance and continued there, picking up tap and jazz for the next 12 years. Her training also includes SpectorDance, Hartnell Dance Department, and having worked with such theatrical choreographers as Terry Barto, Annemarie Hunter, Lorenzo Arragon, and Susan Cable. Currently, Heather works as an Intern for the Western Stage, and is going on her 13th season as a performer there. She works primarily with their Young Company program - interestingly, Heather herself was a part of the program as a youth. Now, she has choreographed several Y.C. productions and continues to coach in drama, dance and movement, and hopes to light a fire for the arts in the youth of her community. She recently had the experience of touring a literature-based outreach performance to local schools, with the objective of exposing kids to live drama and the connection it has with the books and authors they study in class. She expects to revive the program in Spring of 2010. Heather is thrilled to be here at ATRS and looks so forward to sharing her passion in a new venue.
Andria Phillips - Creative Movement, Studio seamstress
Andria Phillips was very fortunate to be provided with a loving, encouraging and structured dancing environment early in life. Andria's love and background in ballet and performing run deep through her spirit. She was trained beginning at the age of 5 under the kind hand of Olga Drumvec. Through Olga's departure at Hartnell College in Salinas, Andria began taking instruction with Lisa Eisemann at the Salinas School of Dance. Andria continues her dancing at All the Right Steps Family Dance Center in the adult ballet classes as well as at Monterey Peninsula College. Andria brings her experience as a stay at home mother to two daughters, along with the solid ballet foundations set for her early in her life to the classroom at ATRS. Andria hopes to be to your children what she remembers her instructors being to her; kind, supportive, loving and encouraging. Andria now accepts, with great excitement, a new adventure here at All the Right Steps Dance Center.
